Annual Conference 2025 - Submit an abstract
Abstract submission
All students in the UKRI AI Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Speech and Language Technologies (SLT) and their Applications will present their work (either as a poster or as a talk). There will also be posters / talks from students from the School of Computer Science's long-established Speech and Hearing (SpandH) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) research groups.
If you are a non-Sheffield student undertaking research in areas related to speech processing and / or written language processing and wish to present your work at our conference, please submit a 200-word abstract using this form: https://forms.gle/PBjRkRGGn5RP29eZA
The conference does not operate a review process. We have limited poster and talk slots and priority will be given to SLT CDT students, then Sheffield students, and then non-Sheffield students. We reserve the right to not include any submissions in the conference if we are oversubscribed and / or your submission is not considered suitable. Any decision not to include a submission in the conference is final.
Remember: even if you submit an abstract, you will still need to register to attend the conference!

Deadline for abstract submission: 31 March 2025 (may close earlier if oversubscribed - submit early!)
